OUTLINE FOR SHORT STORY WEEK 1.

Genre: Tragic/philosophical

Setting: Coffee shop at the general hospital.

Synopsis: Dr. Budin was having his lunch when suddenly this old man came up to his table and wanted to sit at the same table. This is a story of two men; a doctor and a retiree; having a deep conversations about death and how they deal with it.

Week one: The main themes that will be explored are mainly about life and death. My aim is to make a mix of positive and negative impacts to the readers on how they see life and death. This short story will be written in omniscient third person point of view. I thought reflecting myself in the short story will generates more arguments from the readers. At the same time using omniscient POV will allow me giving the inner thoughts of what the characters were thinking and what their actions may lead to. This is very much important for the author to get the message across.
